22nd December  2004 - TopSales version 4.20 released

New features in Basic/Personal/Professional Edition

1) New feature: Product list add filter tab. User can use filter to find product by description. System will lists products that match the filter criteria. The search method is a "contains" search. System will match search value anywhere in the product description
field.

2) New feature: Contact profiles list add filter tab. User can use filter to find contact by full name. System will lists contacts that match the filter criteria. The search method is a "contains" search. System will match search value anywhere in the full name field.

3) New feature: Company profiles list add filter tab. User can use filter to find company by company name. System will lists companies that match the filter criteria. The search method is a "contains" search. System will match search value anywhere in the company name field.

4) Help file add topics on system basics and type usage on contact profile.

1) Goods received note entry for account lookup, list vendor only

2) Purchase order entry for account lookup, list vendor only

New features in Personal/Professional Edition

1)  New feature: All reports can now be fax directly from the report preview window. No third party fax program is require. User must install the Topsales fax add-on accessory.

2)  New feature: All reports can now be saved as picture file from the report preview window.
Typical usage for this function:
  a) attach report to email and send to recipient. 
  b) add report to MS Word or Powerpoint document and distribute to recipient.
  c) Report save as picture file cannot be editable. Useful if you do not want recipient to change report content.

New web section added: Online Tutorial and Demo. Access from main page.


22nd July  2004 - TopSales version 3.90 released

New features in Personal/Professional Edition

1) Bank reconciliation add order list by date, document number and amount

2) Fix bug on receiving email with blank message id. It will now receive correctly.

3) New function: View email header. Access from Tasks > Email Organizer. Use this function to view email header without downloading email. You can then manually choose which email to download.

4) Email client and email center function now group under email organizer sub menu

5) Sales analysis by customer summary report add percentage column

6) Sales analysis by product report add percentage column.

7) Sales analysis by value add percentage column

8) Sales order by vendor/customer add back order and delivered quantity, back order and delivered amount

1) Fix bug in purge email broadcast log function for date range.

2) Improve report previewer for all reports.
- Allows left, right, up, down, page down and page up keys for report pages navigation.

4) When creating a new contact profile, auto fill informal name with first word of full name. Option is set in Tools > System Setting.

5) New function: Send a predefined message to a contact without adding the contact to a mailing list. Access from Tasks > Mail Messages > Send One.
