If you want to
evaluate all the features of TopSales, download the Professional edition. If you
like the free edition with limited features, download the Basic edition.
User ID and password
When installed, the
system comes with a predefined user ID called "USER" and the password is also
"USER". You are advise to change it after you have logon to TopSales
system
Topsales version 6 requires Windows XP, Vista, Windows 2003 or above. If you are using Windows 98, Me or 2000, download Topsales version 5 here.

Basic Edition single user version is free
for your own personal or company use.
TopSales Personal and Professional Edition will run in Demo mode until you obtain a valid activation code. You can use it for 30 days trial period without an activation code. To get an activation code, you will need to purchase Topsales. After obtaining a valid activation code, enter the activation code and click the activate button.
IMPORTANT: For windows Vista and Windows 7, c:\program files folder is protected. Do not install to c:\program files folder. Topsales is portable. Install in a folder outside c:\program files. It can then be copy to other PC or backup the whole topsales folder
How to install Basic Edition
Unzip the downloaded files topbsc.zip to a temporary directory. Run topbsc.exe and follow the installation program instructions.
How to install Personal Edition
Unzip the downloaded files topsps.zip to a temporary directory. Run topsps.exe and follow the installation program instructions.
How to install Professional Edition
Unzip the downloaded files toppro.zip to a temporary directory. Run toppro.exe and follow the installation program instructions.
How to install Basic / Personal / Professional Edition (network version)
Unzip the downloaded files topbscn.zip /topspsn.zip /topsnet.zip to a temporary directory in your server. Run topbscn.exe/topspsn.exe/topsnet.exe and follow the installation program instructions. Example: install in server d:\user\topsales folder. After installing topsales in the server, create shortcut from each client station to point to the TopSales installation folder in the server for the program name topsbsc.exe(basic) / topsps.exe(personal) / topsnet.exe(pro). TopSales does not use windows registry or copy dll files to windows folder. This makes maintenance easier and no dll version conflicts. Topsales program is small in size to run off the server.
Notes for network administrator on file caching and opportunistic locking. You
must turn off opportunistic locking on server.
Download this program
SetupOpLockRegistry.EXE
to turn off
opportunistic locking on Windows NT/2000/2003 server. It will update the windows registry to turn off
opportunistic locking. If you are using WIndows NT/2000/XP/Vista client station
to access the server, you must turn off opportunistic locking also.
Topsales version 6 run under Windows
XP/2003/Vista/Windows 7 or above and requires Internet Explorer 6.0 or
above. Although Topsales requires Internet Explorer, IE does not need to
set as default browser. User can continue using other browser like Firefox as
their default browser.
We recommend screen resolution of 800x600 or
above for optimum usage.
